Greetings from Inoue
Our company first began making hair bands from rayon in 1975. At that time people would tie their hair for the bath and before bed, but times changed and our culture of "ties" was lost as people moved onto buttons and other devices, and the number of people who felt able to tie their own hair grew. Then, in 1988, we entered the market with a link-type hair band which was an instant success. After that, we continued to hold onto top spot, making the finest hair bands, to meet the needs of our customers. Our company also strives to create a memorable workplace for the management, factory workers and part-timers – an environment where small problems never become large ones, but are quickly nipped in the bud. We strive to create a place where all share in a passion for their craft and for the beautiful products they make. A place where one can follow their dream to engage in a labor of love.

We take the more than 80 years of Inoue's manufacturing history and add the passion of our workers for making beautiful products to give you our four-leaf clover logo; each leaf representing one of our four keywords: "quality", "peace of mind", "the local area" and "the environment". To this end we strive to bring you a flawless product completely at harmony with its surrounds. We also want to express the feelings and strong bonds we share with our customers and the daily ceremony involved in the motions and the softness of our hair bands. We hope for happiness for our customers and ourselves and that we should both find ourselves, "in clover".
